Summary: Twenty four hours in the life of Detective Jim Ellison, in which he attempts to solve a particularly bloody murder.
Timeline: In Sentinel canon, this is set during season one, shortly after Cypher. In Supernatural canon, it's pre-series: Sam is 12, Dean 16.
Note 1: The story is a crossover, but heavy on the Sentinel. TS fen need not know anything about SPN in order to read the story. From the SPN side this is an outside-point-of-view story; a little familiarity with the Sentinel characters would be helpful, but is not essential.
Note 2: Written for marishna's multifandom picture challenge; marishna always gives me the best prompts (see my pic here), but I'm terribly late submitting this story. I hope she'll forgive me, and I hope the wait is worth it.

Summary: The demon war is over. Humankind lost. In a post-apocalyptic world, the few human survivors live in small enclaves behind high walls, while monsters roam the world that once was theirs. Mary Winchester lives with her husband and son in one of those enclaves...but her family hides a secret that is about to threaten them all.

Rating: Adult (for bloody violence and some NSFW language).
Warnings: This is darkfic. Dark as in "the light at the end of the tunnel is the headlamp of an oncoming train". Character death is implied (but open to interpretation).
Prompt: Either Sam or Dean gets turned into either a vampire or a werewolf, and how the other deals with it.
Summary: In the dreams, it never happened the same way twice. Two things in the dream were always the same: Dean always asked Sam to kill him and Sam never could.
Notes: Timeline - Fresh Blood took place in early November and Dean's deal was due on May 2nd. Written for cho_malfoy in spn_summergen. Beta read by krazykipper and raynedanser - thanks guys!

NOTES: Inspired by the Poorboyshuffle challenge. I picked the Johnny Cash song Greystone Chapel as my prompt. What I originally had in mind was a story very different from this one, but it simply refused to work. This has much less direct connection to my chosen song, though I still feel an emotional resonance between them.
