WARNINGS: This story contains character death. Also, I finished the first version of this story before the terrorist bombs in London last week. ( Longer explanation behind the cut ) if you are one of the people affected by those attacks, be warned that this story may hit a little too close to home.

NOTES: Cliché? Well, yeah. Realistic? Not as much as my first version was. I went for a more "action movie" theme than realism. See above for the reason. This was meant to be a PWP but what do you know - a plot snuck in when I wasn't looking.

The canon timeline isn't really important to this fic, but for those who like to know these things, the story is set several years after the series ended. Blair is a detective and works in Major Crimes as Jim's partner.
